Cologne supporters were none too pleased about being relegated out of the Bundesliga today.
Hannover’s players have been asked to disclose their sexual interests as part of a survey designed to help their coach understand them better.
The psychological test, to be undertaken on a voluntary basis by the Bundesliga club’s squad, includes statements such as: “I am what you could call sexually unrestrained”; “I want any sex I can get” or “I have a lot of erotic fantasies”, which players can evaluate on a scale of -3 to +3.
The club’s coach, Mirko Slomka, said he had already completed the 128 questions, and the players were free to see his responses if they wanted.
No words for what Eren Derdiyok does in this video. Fantastic.

Now here’s a goal celebration. Eff the sliding, cartwheels, or shirts over the face. Werder Bremen’s Wesley goes for the camera and snaps some photos post-goal.
Bremen went on to beat SC Freiburg 5-3.

— Raphael Honigstein’s weekly columns on the Bundesliga are just as entertaining as watching the games online, because while it’s a league with power players (Munchen, esp.), the thing is it seems like those power players are just as likely to finish 10th than in the CL spots.

FC Nurnberg & USMNT fullback Timmy Chandler to the site Yanks Abroad, re-affirming his allegiance to the American side after rumors he sat out the Gold Cup in hopes of another call-up from die Mannschaft — the ones that would never die, despite the German federation’s statement Chandler would play for the U.S.
This is good because Chandler and Eric Lichaj are possibly the most important American international prospects when it comes to developing a young and stout defensive core. (Many of you would say “strikers” and you’re not wrong, but I believe the team has to be built from the back and the rest will come.) The USMNT still has a center half problem, but the possibility of establishing a back four for the future just got easier.

VfB Stuttgart fans (I presume) put up a very interesting banner when Hoffenheim came to town during this Bundesliga season.
It translates to “Assholes without tradition to be put here.”
