My first choice for USMNT captain would have been Michael Bradley, but he’s young yet, and Clint Dempsey could lead the squad with fire and swag — much of which they’ll need in these qualifiers against Costa Rica & Mexico.. Bradley’s more of a quiet, by example dude, and right now, I suspect the USMNT needs loud and obnoxious. Also, Clint being the new Captain America is an easy excuse to run this GIF again.
